Alma, September 17, 2025 – Groupe Alco-TMI is proud to announce a major expansion project for its facilities located in Alma, representing an investment of seven (7) million dollars. This strategic initiative aims to support the company’s growth, increase manufacturing capacity, improve operational efficiency, and enhance the employee experience.
The work, which will extend through spring 2026, includes the construction of new administrative offices, the expansion of the plant’s production area, the creation of a new goods receiving area, and the improvement of facilities for staff.
“This investment is fully aligned with our long-term development vision. It reflects our commitment to innovation, employee well-being, and the sustainability of our operations,” says François Potvin, President and CEO of the Group.
The company has experienced sustained growth in recent years, notably through the acquisition of major contracts in Saguenay in the aluminum sector, in Bécancour within the battery industry, and on the North Shore as part of hydroelectric projects.
Groupe Alco-TMI specializes in the design, manufacturing, installation, and maintenance of equipment in the fields of pressure vessels, boiler making, piping, and mechanical systems for all industrial sectors.
